Does an Asian (Chinese or Japanese) official Nintendo Wii Controller work on an European Nintendo Wii console?
My girlfriend bought an official Japanse Nintendo Wii Controller on Ebay for my sister, but I don't know if this works. Could you Nintendo Wii experts tell me if this is going to work?

The accessories (wiimote, nunchuk, balance board) are not region coded and will work on your European console.
Only the games are region coded. Thus you can only play PAL games unless you have installed a mod-chip or have softmodded your console by installing 3rd party applications that allow you to override region limitation.
