1966 mustang 289 a/t disc brake conversion?
alright i have manual drums brakes and i'd like to convert to front power disc brakes with dual bowl master cylinder. in the future, i'd like to do a rack and pinion kit also. cjponyparts. com sells a bundle kit with:

my question is what would recommend, buying the brakes right now and rack and pinion later, what kind of power brakes w/ dual bowl master for a cheap price, would i still have to pump the brakes to a stop, and is the kit above worth it. i'm kinda tight on money right now ,but my pony is a daily driver so safety is becoming an issue.
one last question, would i be able to do this job by myself?
If money is an issue, put ford granada front discs on it. It is pretty much a bolt on swap & you will at least be able to stop at reasonable speeds.
