How come playstation 3 doesn't have that many turned based RPG games like the PS2 did?
The PS2 has tons of RPG games. They had games like: Grandia II, Grandia II, Final Fantasy X, Hack in sign, plus many many more. I just don't see why the PS3 don't have any RPG games out right now, thats the main reason I don't have one.
RPGs actually take a lot of time to develop. In the first year of the PS2's life there weren't that many RPG's either. White Knight Cronicles, Disgaea 3, Valkyrie of the Battlefield, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII are all coming out exclusively to the PS3. And there's also Last Remnant and Eternal Sonata which are are on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
There are probably a few more in development which might be announced at the Game Developers Conference that starts next week and at E3 this summer.
