The dispute with Disney

In gratitude for his success with Disney / Touchstone film Buena morning, Vietnam, Robin Williams, said the genie in the Disney animated film Aladdin for SAG scale pay ($ 75,000), on condition that his name or image can be used for marketing purposes and his (supporting) character not take more than 25% of space under construction advertising art, and toys that was scheduled for the release of a months after the beginning of Aladdin. The study on the agreement in both cases, especially in poster art for the genius in 25% of the image, but with different main characters and support meant a lot smaller. Disney's Hyperion book, Aladdin: the making of an animated film, both the list of characters in Williams, the "seller" and "The Genie" ahead of the main characters, but was forced to refer to him as "the actor has signed to play the Genie."

Williams and Disney had a bitter disagreement, and because of Dan Castellaneta said Genie in The Return of Jafar, Aladdin animated television series, and recorded his voice for Aladdin and the King of Thieves. When Jeffrey Katzenberg Disney was fired and replaced by former 20th Century Fox production head Joe Roth (whose last act of the film was ahead of Fox Williams, Mrs. Doubtfire) Roth held a public apology to Williams by Disney. Williams has agreed to play Jack in Hollywood Pictures, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, and even agreed the voice of the Genie again for the King of Thieves result (for much more than the scale), replacing all of Castellaneta dialog.

When Williams re-teamed with Doubtfire director Chris Columbus in 1999, Bicentennial Man, Disney asked that the budget be reduced by approximately $ 20,000,000, and when the film was released on Christmas Day, which failed at the box office. Williams blamed Disney's marketing and the loss of film content has suffered from budget cuts. Consequently, Williams was again on bad terms with Disney, and Castellaneta was once again recruited to replace him as Genie Kingdom Hearts series video games and the House of Mouse TV series. The DVD release of Aladdin plays no role whatsoever from Williams in raw materials, although some of his original recording sessions can be seen.

Genie Video Game
A question for tech heads only!?

I found a video on youtube about a guy who built a Game Genie directly into a Super Nintendo. Is this actually possible or is he full of crap? I have a bet going with my roommate who says it's not possible, but it looks pretty real to me. Any thoughts?

Oh, I guess I'd better add the video's link.

Alright, and what about the other stuff he did? Is that possible too?

Yeah EASY!
the game genie isn't that big, especially once you take off the plastic. Modding old equipment is easy because of the relative size. A bit of cutting, soldering and gluing and your Game Genie is mounted inside your SNes.
